    Repo mobile home
My father passed away in 2007 and I was living in his trailer 1999 model on my land nothing is tied together and I called to make a claim about the roof leaking in November of 2008 they said that they can not make the claim because my name is not on the title of the mobile home. I tried to get it in my name and I could not afford it so we were forced to move because the rooff was falling in so I have been trying to get all my things out and still had some pretty important things left in the home. Well today while my husband and myself were at work they came and took all of our things out of the house and things that were in the shed and in the yard as well, things worth lots of money because this is still my land and my shed. My husband goes out and does work on the weekends and the kids have toys there. So anyway what do they do with all peoples things and is it legal for them to dispose or should they have just left it in my yard? Is there anyway for me to recover my things?

You physically moved from the mobile home and decided to leave behind items. You should have taken all your belongings with you as the repo company had no idea you "still wanted" these items. Even though it is on your land, you did not own the mobile home. Did you own the shed? Was that part of the mobile home loan? If not, then you need to contact the finance company and ask them where are the items from the shed as the shed and it's contents belonged to you. As for the contents of the home you will be told that you abandoned the items inside the house. Technically the repo company should have piled everything inside the house and shed in the yard and not have taken the items away.
