    Rental property
    Recently evicted, small store out of business. Out of business due to owners death store abandoned it rains I move in been there for two to three months am I a residdent . Recently persons show and say I'm not allowed on property , what needs to be done on my part

    You have to prove you are a legal resident with a signed lease, or rental agreement, that you got from someone with the legal authority to rent to you.

    Local laws apply. I noticed your other post,

    You are a trespasser and the real owners can have you arrested. You have no legal right to the property. You do not have any right to even be in there.

    Agreed you are a trespasser and could be subject to arrest. "Squatters rights" laws no longer really exist. What needs to be done on your part is to get out before you are thrown out or arrested.

    I agree with the others... you risk jail time if you do not leave now. It is not your property and you have absolutely no right to be there. Go find another place to legally rent, move to a shelter or find a bridge to live under until you can assuming you have no friends or family you can stay with.

    You can be prove that You have to signed lease papers , If you have t legal proof then nobody can you move out that .

    Where did they say they had any lease? In fact they admit they have no right to be there. There is no right to squat on the property of others... ever. And it is owned by somebody somewhere. Even if its the locality. Nobody ever has the right to lay claim to property they did not buy or inherit.

    And this does NOT fall under adverse possession or any of the very specific conditions involved in that. As they were already told to leave. The next people to come may be the police to arrest them. And they will come eventually.

    And NO they are NOT a resident. And eviction laws do not apply. Go straight to jail...do not pass go. Stores are not even zoned to allow for people to live in them.

    I agree with the others, you do not claim to have a lease so you are trespassing and must leave. Just because it started raining does give you permission to move into someone else's property.
