    Real Estate Deed
I bought a home a few months prior to my husband and I getting married. It is in my previous name plus he is not on the mortgage; it's been this way for close to 9 years now. But we are currently seeking a refinance opportunity and were told he must be on the deed to be considered as part of the financing process, etc. This is not a problem with us since he's been helping maintain the mortgage and all other household expenses our entire relationship... even before marriage. Unfortunately, I have just put this off for so long and now it's time to fix it. I would like to do it myself in a simple manner, but am not sure which deed form to use. Can anyone give me some guidance on this? Thank you! :D

This can be done as part of the refinance. Whoever is handling the closing for the refinance can prepare and file the deed at the same time. Just ask your mortgage company to take care of it as part of the closing.
