    Quit claim liability.am I responsible?
I live in FL and divorced... my ex-wife refinanced the home we had and had a loan under her name... she is now in foreclosure... I am still on the deed through quit claim... the bank is saying they will pursue collection on her and not me... the house, (in GA) is going on the block next week... I found out via the web... am I liable if I prove that we are divorced and I have not lived in the home for years? How do I avoid a collection on me and not have this affect my credit?

If your ex refinanced the house in her name only, and if the refinance completely paid off all previous loans, then you are not responsible for payment of this loan. The lender cannot collect from you and cannot file anything against your credit.
