    Quick claim deed
If I sign a quick claim deed over to a friend of mine and the home loan is still in my name. Can a creditor still put a lean on my home? Im I also allowed to transfer the deed even though the loan is in my name?

    Hello abel:

Of course. You don't think they can be outwitted like that, do you? And, no, you can't transfer the deed while the loan is in your name. The loan will be called.

excon, is right on the money! The bank will call the loan and possibly even charge you with attempted fraud.
