Disposal of abandoned evicted tenant's personal property
What is to be done with the abandoned property of a court-evicted Illinois tenant? Does the landlord need to keep it? If so, how long?

    Hello alan:

His property along with his person should have been put on the street by the sheriff when he did the evicting. If that didn't happen and the tenant is gone, you can discard what he left.
