    Court Summons
If you receive a summons from your mortgage company and you work things out with them Do you still have to answer the summons? Well I was told that the mortgage company said you don't have to answer it and they will send something in the mail within 10 days to sign and then a certified check will need to be sent to them as soon as the papers comes.

I would answer any summons to be safe, you don't want to not answer it and get in trouble for not doing so.

Thanks. I was told the mortgage company said you don't need to do anything else and not to do anything with the summons. Some papers will be sent in the mail within 10 days and as soon as you get the papers you will have to send them a certified check.

Alrighty, If you have a problem with the things they ask you to do and stuff, your best bet would be to get a lawyer and discuss it with him or her, but a summons is not a good things to ignore haha.

    Hello tem:

Yes, you told us TWICE that the mortgage company is going to send papers, and told you that you don't have to go to court.

I suppose if you trust this company with the MOST EXPENSIVE PURCHASE YOU'LL EVER MAKE, then just realx... However, I don't trust NOBODY with everything I've got... But, that's just me.

Ask them to immediately send you a copy of the letter suspending the summons. If they don't then answer it.
