    Black Mold
Is there a law or any city regulations in the state of Kentucky regarding black mold being on or in rental property?

    Hello A:

Your state landlord tenant law requires that your home be "habitable". If black mold makes it UN-inhabitable, then you may break your lease and move.

I'm assuming that your landlord will NOT address the issue. Call your local health department. They'll do an inspection and determine whether it IS or ISN'T black mold, and whether your home is safe. If it ISN'T safe, send a copy of the health department report to your landlord and demand they fix it, or you will vacate IMMEDIATELY.
