I need a very short story about. (click for more details)
A student who thinks she can't do the math and gives up--even though she could have learned the subject. She later finds out a math skill was the very thing she needed to do a good deed. The moral of the story is keep your mind open.

That's really good, steffimalcampo91! You have come up with your own subject and idea for how you want your story to go and are making an attempt to make it a good story about which you can then write a reflection. That is exactly what we look for on this site - people who will make an attempt to arrive at the answers themselves and just need some help and guidance in how to get the answers.

Now, let's expand on your story a little. I'm going to choose a name for the girl, if you don't mind, so that I can help you better. I am going to call her Corazon because I like the sound of it and know that it means "heart."

Your story could be expanded a little bit more like the following example:

Once upon a time, there was a student who's name was Corazon. She was a junior in high school. She had always been pretty good at math. But now, the math had gotten so hard that she thinks that she can't learn it and just gives up. She does this in spite of the fact that all of her friends as well as her math teacher know that she could have learned it if she had tried.

Sometime later in her life, she finds herself in a situation where, if she had learned how to do the math that she had given up on trying to learn, and by knowing how to do that type of math, she could have been able to do a good deed for someone and really helped them out in their life.

The moral of the story is: Keep your mind open and never give up. You never know when what you have given up trying to learn may be the very thing someday that might make you able to help someone in a big way.
Of course, you change this story around a bit, depending on how you think that it should go.

I hope that this has been helpful to you! :)
