Everyone agrees that adolescence is the unhappiest time in an individual's life. However, some people know that is a challenging time when young people have to make sense of the world and themselves.
There is some evidence that adolescence is an unhappy time. First, a teenager's body is in continuous change which can cause emotions to fluctuate, making him aggressive and irritable one minute and calm and reasonable five minutes later. Secondly, many people agree that teenagers find ways to argue about anything and everything, including about cars, sports, and fashion. Finally, many adolescents have to work in order to get money, which might make them think that is the unhappiest time ever.
However, there are many arguments to refute this statement. First, many adults say that adolescence is the best of all times because the adolescent has the world by the tail and all of life ahead of him. Secondly, most adolescents don't have adult responsibilities, such as, adolescents can go out with friends while adults usually have homemaking, childcare, and homeowner tasks that consume their day. Finally, adolescents can wear whatever they wish without looking strange or out of place, often because it doesn't matter to them what people think.
In conclusion, although many people think that adolescence is the unhappiest time in an individual's life, the positives outweigh the negatives.
