Um.. I just don't know what to do.. Care to help?
Ok, I broke it off with my boyfriend of 3 months because I was listening to everyone else telling me that he didn't treat me right and that he was always cheating on me. I heard that stuff from girls completely obsessed with him, and my mom told me to break it off and then my best friend, who used to be his girlfriend for 2 weeks, told me that if I didn't, she would. I don't know what made me do it, but I just got too fed up. I loved him sooo much and still do and he said that the only way to get him back is to be committed and basically be how I wasn't. I told him on the phone that I still loved him and put myself down all over the place, but he was kind of an *** about it.. Now, he has a date to prom with one of my friends and he told our mutual friend that I need to care and actually try to get him back because since it was my fault, he shouldn't have to. Every time I see him walking with her or dancing with her or someone else, I feel like tearing up. I'm told every day that he loves me soooo much, almost more than anything, and yet, he doesn't show it. I have a plan to hang with him on Sunday just as 'friends', but I don't know what to do to get him back. Any ideas on how to help me? Or any ideas on what will happen?

    Hi,
I am not a Psychic, don't pretend to be.
He told a friend you should try getting him back? And the friend told you this?
Forget about this boy, and move on.
If he really cared for you, he would tell you he wants you, and be much, much more respectful of you. He is not showing you any respect, caring, love, or anything else for that matter.
Find yourself another boy... you can do it.

If he truly wanted you back he'd fight for it instead of trying to make you jealous and react to his actions.
Its so hard to move on, as you would clearly see from my thread in this section, but I know because he made me feel so bad I would never go back to him, and this guy has obviously made you feel awful, should he really be given the chance to make you feel it again?
If he wasn't understanding of how you felt when you spoke to him on the phone and left you feeling really down about everything then he can't be all he's cracked up to be.
The best way to get him back would be to show him that you can do better, which you can and obviously your friends and family think so too, and be happy hanging with your mates, show him there is happiness without him.

Don't know how much help that can be but hope it helps in some way

    Games. Games. Games.

If he loved you so much and wanted you so much he would have said it to you and he would not be with anybody else?

    Am I right?

I think you're right to think that you were being tricked by your friends into breaking it off with him cause it sounds like they wanted him for themselves, but I think you were right for breaking it off with him cause of they way he's acting now. You shouldn't have to go over the top and around trying to see if he'd give you the time of day, if he really loved you then he'd respect the fact that we're all human, all make mistakes and forgive you, take you to the prom and just love you as much as he says he does. Actions speak louder than words and what's his actions are telling you to do is beg which I don't think you should. You're better than that and I believe you should try to find someone else who thinks you're better than that too.

BUT I know that's not what you asked, you asked, if we have any ideas of how to help you get him back. Well, I'm not too sure about that but I just say, be confident, wonderful, funny, just be yourself and if he doesn't like who that is, then he can walk away cause do you really want to be with someone who expects you to put on a show every time they see you? It'll get tiring fast!
Hope this helped and good luck whatever you end up doing.

If he really cared and wasn't going on a pride trip, then he would try to get you back. He's just playing childish games... thats all. Sorry
Just let him go... you'll be fine.
