Windows 7 Network Problem with Canon PIXMA iP4850
I've just bought a Canon PIXMA iP4850 for my PC which is shared by my lapto. My laptop has Windows 7 on it. When I try to access it as a network printer from the laptop (it's set up to be shared) it doesn't show it on the drop down list, and when I go to add it a message is returned 'windows cannot connect to printer. Operation failed 0x00000000d.' How do I fix this?

Run the Installation disk on the laptop. That should prompt the laptop to look for the proper IP Address of the printer and associate that with the printer drivers.

If you don't have the disk, you can get a driver from Canon. If you do this, be sure you get all of the drivers including any for scanning and faxing.

Printer about 1 year old. The black only sporadically prints on a page. Some lines print out faintly, others not at all. The ink is 80% full, ran several cleanings and deep cleanings to no avail. I was printing several pages and this happened all of a sudden. I believe it has something to do...
