My computer keeps shutting down?
Every 20 or 30 minutes my computer will show a blue screen and then shut down. When I log back on I get an error message saying that my PC has recovered from a serious error. I sent the report and it opened up the following information from Microsoft. Solution 2 didn't work and there weren't any updates for my driver. Please can anyone tell me what has happened and what to do?


When I loaded up my computer in safe mode it didn't shut down or have any problem like that. So is it a virus or is it a hardware problem?

For maximum stability, leave hardware acceleration turned off.

Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.
Click the Settings tab, and then click Advanced.
Click the Troubleshoot tab, move the Hardware Acceleration slider to None, and then clear the Enable Write Combining check box.
Click OK, and then click OK.

Hmmm seems to me that you have answered your own question here.
This does seem to be a hardware issue.
Have you tried any of the solutions you posted here.
I think that would make some sense, don't you ?

I did try out the solutions but there were no updates and the second solution didn't work either.
