    Canon pixma mp110
    Hi,my canon pixma mp110 printer is showing error message 5B00-waste ink absorber full.
    How do I correct the error ?
    What can I do to get my printer working ?
    Nothing in the printer manual to help me.

    1) Enter SERVICE MODE By pressing Menu-Scan-Copy-Scan
    2) Enter NVRAM by presing <--- or ---> then OK
    3) SET ABS-M LEVEL TO 0
    4) OK

    Don from DONF I think I love you. I had the same problems as Chopper 06 below, and was told by a Canon help desk person in Australia where I live, that I might as well buy a new printer, because it would cost just as much to fix AND I would get new ink with it!! Throw away society really P@###@ me off Thank you!! :)

    I spoke too soon Don, it is printing very faded, but no colour now!! Please help:confused:

    Hello
    My Canon MX870 will not scan. I follow the normal process of pressing the scan button insert the paper in the top, select PC local (USB), press the color copy start button and get "set the PC to start scanning". What does that mean?
