    Tubal ligation, breastfeeding, and pregnancy
I had my tubes tied in may of 2006 about 2months after I had my baby. I am fully breastfeeding my baby right now and I have been since he was born. I just started having periods about 3 months ago and they were coming on the same day, the forst month on the 12/9th, second on the 1/7th and third on the 2/9th. Well I have not had my period for march yet and it is the 16th. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative, so my question is could I be pregnant or has my period just went away again? Or if I have a tubal pregnancy would the pregnancy test show up negative?

The test would show up positive it you were, most likely. I would not worry too much with you still breast feeding right now.

As long as you are not having lower abdominal pain in a specific area, I would wait and see. But if you are hurting, go to your doctor immediately!
