Sometimes it is just better if you all PM me and ask me to move it rather than embarrass a new member. I have since moved it.

There is still a lot of info missing. Are you regular? When was your last check up, etc. How old is your husband? Is he the father of your 16 month old?

If you have been trying for about 6 months in all honestly that is not very long in the real aspect of it. Many couples will go over a year, and some up to 2 years trying before they do. There are various methods of tracking the most fertile times, and this has been used to some success.
With that of course a complete exam of both you and your hubby would be the first course.

I'm sure it's frustrating right now, but 8 months of trying isn't unusual. Even if you became pregnant with your first a lot more quick, each month brings something different for every woman. Healthy couples often take 6m to 1yr to conceive naturally.

Give it a little more time, try and relax, and consider seeing your doctor if you have health concerns that could be a problem.
