Pregnant after abortion or its just birth controls that make me feel sick
I had my abortion on February 7th. I didn't have sex for 2 weeks and I'm on a birth control. Well I got my period one week ago and now its all over. But right after my period I started to not feeling good. My belly is hurting me. Is that I may to be pregnant again or its just a birth control?

How soon afterwards did you start the birth control and have you used it correctly the entire time?

Pregnancy would be a slight possibility, but since you had an abortion not too long ago, if you continue with the stomach pain you may want to check back with your doctor. Did you have the follow-up visit to check that the abortion was complete?

Yes I had my fallow up appointment and everything was OK so on Sunday I started to take a birth control and the doctor said after one week of taking my pills I can intercourse again. But our sex was very safe. No matther the fact we had sex only like 3 times during this month. And I felt totally great after first month taking my pills. And when I got my period it was more like dark spotting but the doctor said its normal and cou[ple days after my period I have this stomach ache so I don't know if the pills can cause this. I'm so scared because ill not go through this all again. Ill do pregnancy test later but I'm just scared

The stomach ache might be from the pill. It usually would no longer be a problem once your body adjusts to the change in hormones from the pill... which might take a couple of months on it. If it is very painful, let your doctor know. The pill may cause some women discomfort at first, but it shouldn't be severe.
When in doubt, call your doctor. If it is enough to cause you concern, it merits a phone call for the peace of mind.

Sure, it is possible, but it would be unlikely. Birth control pills are not 100% effective, no birth control method is, so pregnancy will happen to a small percentage of women at some point. But since you were on the pill and had your period, chances are you wouldn't be pregnant again.

If you wanted to be extra cautious from now on, you could take your pills and have your partner use a condom as well. This would make the odds of pregnancy even more unlikely.

Thank you so much for your help. I just took pregnancy tests and they both were negative but the pain is exactly the same like I was pregnant. But anyway I think the pain is just because the pills thank you again

Infection after an abortion can happen, but you had it done well over a month ago and had a follow-up visit to check that it was complete. Have you been running a fever? That would be an indication of possible infection. The pain would likely be quite severe as well. See how things go... if you are still concerned, see your doctor again.

By not eating, your stomach can feel worse. Try small bites of toast or some cereal.

If over the next couple of days it is still causing you so much worry, go in and have it checked out. That is really the only thing that will give you some peace of mind.
