    Not sure of dates for dating scan
    I'm pregnant but unsure of the dates.

    My last "proper" period was 18 April. I have irregular periods not in terms of their duration which is always 4-5 days but the time in-between. I use a website to keep track of them and that says that my average cycle is 37 days. So, my question is this, considering my last full period was in April but that I had half a day of brownish discharge (only visible when I wiped) after non penetrative sex on June 5th, from which date do I count? Am I 10 weeks or 3 weeks pregnant?


    The only reason I ask, is that I've booked a dating scan for tomorrow on the assumption that I'm 10 weeks, but don't want to waste mine or the doctors time if only 3 weeks.

    Any help would be great, thanks ladies.

    I'd go with the last actual period... the brownish discharge could have just been from the sex. The scan will be closer to one or the other and that way you will know for sure... :)
