    Missed period for 6 months then got it in march and haven't had it since
    I'm 18 and my husband and I are trying to have a baby so I quit my because in September 2011. In October we got married and that was the last time I got my period for 6 months and then in march I got it for a week and haven't had it since. I have take home tests, they came back negative and had blood work and urine tests done and they came back the same. They say I have hasimotos thyroiditis and possible swelling or tumors on my pititary gland but they aren't affecting my hormones.. some advice or help please?!

    Hi southsideange... welcome to AMHD,

    Have you had hormones actually tested? Do you recall what was looked at? Your conditions can play a role in fertility, sometimes as secondary influences.

    What is known is that you are not having regular cycles, thus chances are you are not ovulating on a regular basis and this of course will directly effect fertility. If you aren't ovulating, you can not become pregnant.

    What was said about ways to help regulate your cycles? What meds are you taking?
