    Menstration versus pregnancy cramps
I am due for mentration in about 4 days and I am experiencing cramping, bloatedness; especially on the one side.
These crapms started about a week ago but very faint, now it has increased in intensity.
My husband and I have been trying for a baby and there is a possibility I could be pregnant.
I just wanted to know if menstrual cramps are the same as cramps that you experience when you fall pregnant?

Typically you should not feel cramps when falling pregnant. The cramping could be from ovulation.

Unfortunately, since your period is only 4 days away, you are going to have to wait to see if you get your period. If not, test using first morning urine.

I am new to this whole trying to get pregnant thing, and I was wondering if you can still have menstrual cramps before your first missed period. I have been having cramps for the past few days, but I haven't started my period.
