I have been told by my doctor through my pregnancies, if you completely soak an entire maxi pad within an hour, get to the doctor immediately!

Do you think you might be having one? What is happening?

Miscarriage is usually accompanied by severe abdominal pain or cramps and the bleeding is very heavy and full of clots. Sometimes you will also see gray matter along with this. If you think you are having a miscarriage or are experiencing bleeding please see your health care provider ASAP or better yet go to the ER. Good luck!

It all depends on how far along you are. Statistics show that most sexual women experience a miscarriage at least once in their lives and never knew they were pregnant, they just thought it was a period.

So, really it depends on how far along you are as to what symptoms you will experience.

I miocarried between my fifth and sixth month of pregnancy and I did not bleed a lot, hardly at all in fact. A spot here and there, some mild cramping, only one time was the painful enough cramping for me to go to my doctor. I had just been to see him at my fifth month check-up and all was fine. Two weeks later, it was not all fine. No heartbeat, no movement, nothing. I know now that it was placenta previa, since I had the same symptoms with my oldest son, only at three months pregnant and my doctor was able to disagnose correctly.

So, just like J_9 stated, it all depends on how far along you are and it depends on each individual. No one delivers exactly the same either. My advice is that at any sign of blood or unusual discharge, or abdominal cramping, see your doctor and ask for a sonogram just to be sure all is well.

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about six months now. I normally have a 25-26 day cycle. This month was 28, which I know isn't "abnormal."
