    From everything I just looked up it says
    ''it should be safe but check with the doctor or pharmacist first''.
    ''The cough suppressant dextromethorphan is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy, providing it is only taken for short periods and using the smallest dose possible''.
    "Lozenges containing honey or glycerol to coat the throat, are the safest option to reduce coughing".
