    Am I pregnant help!?
Myself and my boyfriend have slept together 4 times in total. The first time was protected however the other 3 times he pulled out before ejaculating. First time we slept together was 16/17 days ago, the last time we slept together was 13 days ago. My period was due 3 days ago.. today about mid day I started bleeding however it wasn't much at all, not compared to the amount usually. Would this be classed as spotting? However now and again I'm experiencing cramps. I've searched a bit online and a few times these symptoms have resulted in a miscarriage??
Is it too early to take a test or too late? If so what brand would you recommend?
Myself and my boyfriend would love to have a child together, we would be able to bring up the child however he wants me to pursue my career. However what the result is whether I am pregnant or not we will discuss what's best in great depth.
However I have always said I would never ever have an abortion but it might have to become an option even though it would tear me apart. Even the thought that I might have miscarried my boyfriends child is tearing me apart.
Please any advice is helpful thank you very much.

It's a good idea to really talk about this issue and determine whether you're both REALLY on board for the life-altering reality of a child right now at this stage in your life/relationship. You mentioned you'd only slept together 4 times in total. If not, or if this is a new relationship and you have some other things to focus on in your life, then not getting pregnant at this time could be a positive thing and you can have children later (also a good idea is an honest conversation about birth-control methods as dubious as "pulling out")

An at home test (which works best AFTER your missed period date) and/or a visit to the doctor are in order. Note that cycles can change suddenly and have lighter flow, etc. so that itself may not be an indication that you were ever pregnant at all.

Thank you for replying. Your advice is very helpful. We are both still very young and both are going somewhere with our lives. We have said we do want a baby together but not quiet yet, but if that was the result we would get through it together.
I am going to do a home test over the next few days.
If I'm not pregnant that's okay for us as we weren't planning it however if it turns out there's a possibility I miscarried I will be honest with you I will struggle recovering from that.. because it makes me wonder loads of people have kids at my age so why could it possibly happen to me, I'm thinking the worst.
    But thank you very much.

If you have a period or a light period and you were only a couple of days late, then it is unlikely that you were pregnant at all, hon. And besides, don't waste your time comparing yourself to anyone else. Loads of other people your age having babies doesn't make it a good idea for *you* or your partner. As you said, - you are both still young and have a lot of life to focus on. When the time is right, you will have a family. If you are not (or never were) pregnant, then take that as a sign that your life is exactly on track and where it's supposed to be for now :)
    Take good care!
