Oh so it could be the mucus plug, how long after can you go into labour? I heard a few days or a few weeks is that correct? Is there any other signs that it might be happening soon? I have not had a blood show yet I think that's what they call it.

I lost my mucus plug at 36 weeks and was induced at 38 weeks so I stayed pregnant for two more weeks so really can't tell. I've heard to stay active, long walks, squats, bounce on a birthing ball, swim... The bloody show and the mucus plug are the same thing. If you did not lose the entire mucus plug, but just atiny bit, it can just regrow. My mother did not lose her mucus plug with me until five minutes before she started pushing and she was in labor with me for 17 hours

I am trying to stay active today is garden day, I have to get everything done and finished. For the last 3 weeks all I have been doing is cleaning, I can't watch my husband make a Sandwich on the counter because god for bid he spills something and I lose on him. Right after I cook I have to clean up I won't even eat my dinner first, same thing goes with wiping everything down with disinfectant. I think I have nuts or so that's what my husband is beginning to think.

I did the same thing as soon as I started my third trimester. I was a clean freak. I cannot tell you how many times I cleaned the floors, rearranged the baby's room, folded and refolded his clothes, reorgainized his drawers and closet, wiped everything down. I drove everyone crazy and if anyone made a mess or anything I let them have it. I wish I had listened to everyone when they told me to rest and to sleep as much as I can, because once active labor starts you will never feel fully rested for a very long time. You would think they would let you sleep and rest and everything in the hospital, but NOPE! You will be lucky if you can get 4 hours straight of sleep... So go to sleep! Go rest read a book go to a movie, something.

You know I have tired that I even try to go to bed early but for some reason or another I get up because my legs feel like they have aunts in them. So only thing that helps is walking, have you had that problem?

If you are really concerned than call your doctor, this is not the time for you to worry, and no question is a silly one, your doctor has been through this, he'll either ask you to come in for a checkup or reassure you.

Let us know how it goes.

    Good Luck.
