25 weeks pregnant am I having contractions
I;m 25 weeks pregnant and have partial placentia previa which has been conformed at my last two ultrasounds, now tonight I think I'm having some contractions.
My belly gets so hard and uncomfortable when I stand or sit, my back is hurting in the lower half and I'm having pressure in the vaginal area when I stand. Since I found out about the placentia previa they have informed me to call asap if I notice bleeding but I haven't just this, could this be Braxton Hicks or contractions. I'm drinking lots of water to see if this helps but so far it isn't. Any ideas? Thanks |

Call your doctor, (or hospital if your doctor has already left for the day) and talk to someone about it. Its best to be safe. They are definitely contractions, question is, are they just braxton hicks, or are they the real thing. Time the contractions for half an hour, how far apart they are and how long they last, then call the doctor/hospital
