Bent turbine blades in a 2000 7.3 turbo
What can damage the turbines on the turbo for a 7.3 ford diesel. This is a 2000 that had to have the "rod"? Replaced which right after the bolts on the turbo came loose and caused the turbo to come loose causing vibration that caused the new "rod"? Loose and damage the rod and somehow two blades on the turbine are bent. Can someone help me to know if the rod and / or shaft what ever it is called could have damaged the turbine blades or know what is known to have done this.

That's what happens when the air filter is not replaced frequently enough.

One has to be all over air and fuel filters on diesels.
