    Does sand filter leach substance into pool which causes increasing pH ?
    Dear Sir or Madam,

    I have encountered a huge problem which is about balancing the PH in swimming pool.this is a 26000 gallon pool and the water before enter the pool is completely neutral and it is about 7.2 .We filled this pool and started running the pump to filter it after three days we checked again the PH that was very shocking .it was more than 8.2 and we decided to use dry acid to decrease the alkaline .we followed all steps that manufacturer said ,and after we used 8 bottles dry acid still we have problem with it and it decreased but after 7 hours again increased .Really, it makes a harsh situation .therefore,I realized the best way to find a solution is to share with sophisticated people here.

    I am very gratitude to all of you for taking the time to help me ,and I was wondering if you could mind helping me how to solve this problem ?

    You need to check the total alkalinity and make sure that is correct if not it will let the ph bounce all over the place and hot weather does not help either
