    USA India relationship=Mongoes benefits?
According to the constantly- irate Lou Dubbs, the main benefit from India USA nuclear cooperation is that the people in the USA will have plenty of mangoes to eat. How accurate is that statement?

Dobbs is an idiot. Although mangos originated in Southeast Asia (where it has been grown for over 4,000 years), mango groves have spread to many parts of the tropical and sub-tropical world, where the climate allows the mango to grow best. Most of the mangos sold in the United States are imported from Mexico, Haiti, the Caribbean and South America.

More mangos are eaten fresh daily than any other fruit in the world.

Is that so? Thanks for the info.

The next to latest issue of Time Magazine has an article which mentions and then indirectly criticizes Dobbs.

I think that part of Dobb's problem is that he makes statements based on personal assumptions motivated by wishful thinking. One would expect person in his influential position to responsibly set the example by researching before stating something as fact. This is not the first time he's done it. One time he made a statement which amounted to nothing more than his inaccurate opinion and was proven wrong. When the lady who proved him wrong smiled, he blanched and quickly changed the subject as he always does when being cornered. Perhaps he's too busy in his self-assigned role as guardian of the nation's borders to research the statements he makes. Eventually, if he keeps it up, he might lose the trust of his most staunch supporters.

    BTW
If indeed he feels that everyone is as stupid as he constantly tells us, then maybe he should run for president then and show us how he'd handle all this. Probably would start WWIII on an assumption.

First of all, I blundered on to your site because of your response to the person who wanted a comparison between ideal and real. You guessed it was his school assignment and it amused me.
Re India and the US - advantages and disadvantages, both have advantages altho' I feel India might have more. Both have access to each other's research and angles or threads the other might have overlooked or not followed.
Brings to mind the super computer. The US had a monopoly and was selling it at exhorbitant prices till India built an indigenous one and quartered the price.
