    Was the wrong shower valve or assembly installed or just the handle?
    After our shower was recently re-tiled, we noticed that our single shower knob is on incorrectly. When turned left, the cold water comes on, hot water comes on when turned to the right and it turns off in the middle. We believe, it should operate from right to left, mixing the water as it is turned to the opposite side.. If this is so, please help us how to correct.

    Suggestion.
    Remove the handle, turn the cartridge 180 degrees, put the handle back on.

    That usually happens with Moen brand faucets. But fix is as easy as Harold suggested...
