Why does my shallow well keep running?
My shallow well does not shut off. It just runs until the pipe expands from the heat. Why is this?

Do you have good pressure, or has the pressure gone away? If you have good pressure, then it could be a defective switch. If not, then the water level might have dropped, the pump might be defective, or there might be a leak in the wellpipe.
