Why does the diverter in my shower not work
I replaced the old diverter with a new diverter. The diverter is a stem diverter made by sterling. Water is not being diverted completely. The stem screws in only one way. What did I miss.

This is a Three handled valve, (see image) correct? When you had the diverter stem out did you check the seat fro nicks or rough spots? Back to you, Tom
