Why do I sometimes have water , then sometimes I don't
Keep losing water to the house, the pump is not even 3 years old, the pressure switch kept clicking on and off all the time so replace that. But keep losing water. Then I was told to push air through the water storage tank. Did that but only works for a couple of days did it again, stops again and when the water pump runs when you have the water on the pump keeps running until the water shuts off.don't know what to do.

Sounds like an air leak in your water tank. The old water tanks stored air in the top portion of the tank which compressed as the tanked filled with water, check along the welded seam and fittings for air leakage. The new systems have an air bladder which is filled through a valve stem on the unit and the entire bladder is compressed when the tank is filled with water. This could be the source of the air leak. Sometimes particulates like small gravel can put ever so small holes in the rubber bladder that leak very slowly. They are not too expensive and would most likely be your best bet since you have replace almost everything else.

Your pressure tank probably has a little air valve at the top. That would be where you "pushed" air through the tank? If so, then it might be leaking. Put some air in again, then put a little water on top of that valve and see if you spot any bubbles. If so, then you have found your problem. The valve stem in that valve is the same as in a car tire, so you can pick one up at a auto parts store and simply replace it. Once it is fixed, then charge the tank to 2# BELOW the cuton point for your system. So, for instance, if your pump cuts on at 30# then you would set the tank pressure to 28#. Do this with the system off and pressure drained to zero by opening a lower level faucet.
