Why do I not have pressure in bathroom sink after a new sink install?
After we installed a new bathroom sink we turned the water back on. All of the other water faucets are OK but there is no pressure in the bathroom sink. Is there something in the new faucet that could be causing this due to packing of the faucet. :)

Gerriperkins - I don't believe so ,but I installed a shower tub faucet ( NEW0 and couldn't not get hot water but plenty cold ,checked everything and then removed the faucet and started checking and found that there was NO OPEN CHANMNEL FOR THE WATER TO COME INTO THE FAUCET. Had to return it and get another one Lets do some simple testing and checking, #1- check the water shutoffs under the sink for -on-FULL-on. #2 is it both hot and cold, If so you may have to rem,ove the faucet handles and remove the stems ,to check for trash in the faucet or water line :: #3Check you water risers from the shut offs to see if you have good water pressure there9 NOTE _ GET A PAN OR BOTTLE TO CATCH THE WATER IN . :: A lot of the time when a faucet is replaced , you end up with trash in the lines or faucet. Also check your risers to see if they are cinked or twisted . Good luck and GOD BLESS :: F.B.E,

Insure that the stop valves under the sink are open. Remove the aerator of the faucet and try faucet. What kind of faucet?

    Hi all:

Gerri, Like Hkstroud said... check the aerator first (see picture). It is located at the end of the bath faucet spout. Always the easiest place to start in theses cases!

Here, rotate the new aerator clockwise to remove it and then run water without aerator in place, clean the screens of aerator and then reinstall the aerator... sounds like some sediment got in there from shutting water off and is gumming up the works...

Let us know if that fixes it... MARK

There has developed, in the last week, a "fog horn" sound when we turn on the hot or cold taps in the bathroom or kitchen. It does not occur when we use the washer or dishwasher. Could anyone give some advise on what could be the cause of this?
