    What is a flow well
    I'm looking into moving into a new place but a bit skeptical because: The street the new place is at, has a flow well underneath. I'm not sure what this means, does it mean there is no piping under or that there is a flow well unit that will eventually allow seeping of water through. There is also a lake near by (approximately 7 blocks away);

    Can someone please explain what a flow well under the street mean and what are the health consequences (or home stableness is)?

    Thank you,

    Clare:rolleyes:

    Ask city engineer. Artesian well is a well that produces water without a pump. Usually have to drill very deep for these. Maybe talk to some of the neighboring homeowners and ask them if they know anything about this.
