    What does a peetrap look like
    The sink in the kitchen is clogged and was told by a friend that the peetrap might be clogged what does one look like and where is it located I live in the city I need help badly ty

    P-Trap looks like this. It is the "bent" pipe under your sink.

    Milo explained what "P" trap looks like. Let me take it a tad farther. Since a "P" trap's self scouring it's doubtful you'll find the clog there.
    Most kitchen sink clogs will be found in the horizontal drain line inside the wall.
    Remove the bend from the trap and send a snake up into the weall, (see image) You'll run into a bend about 8 inches in but once around the you'll only have to put out about 6 feet more.
    Replace the bend in the trap and flush with a tub full of hot water. Good luck, Tom
