    Wall hung basin
    I'm fixing a wall hung basin what height should I fix it I've been told 1000mm from a friend but I want to be sure

    Hi lips1254:

    In our area we set most wall hung basins at 864mm (34 inches)... which is acceptable for handicap accessibility... so 1000mm seems way high to me.

    However, each manufacturer can have its own hanger and required height. My best advice would be to refer to the instruction manual for your specific sink.

    Mark's correct 40 inches is way too high for a wall hung lavatory. We set ours at 32" from the floor to the flood rim. Regards, Tom
