Using Hot Water with a Pot Filler
Long story, but I'd like to use a pot filler with HOT water.
QUESTION: Will hot water damage the interior mechanisms of the pot filler?
(All pot fillers advertise cold water usage).

For the curious, I'm putting a pot filler faucet (ie: Newport Brass or Rhol) minus the faucet, in the shower to attach to a hand shower. Imagine the faucet gone, and the hand shower hooked up to where the faucet 'should' be. All the hand shower elbows and diverters on the market are ugly, and are not available in a traditional cross handle.

    Thanks,
    Marita

No, this shouldn't be a problem at all.

    I'm familiar with both.

How are you planning to adapt the 1/2" IPS hose fitting and Vacuum Breaker to the 7/8" outlet on the Pot Filler -- And still maintain the fixtures finish?

All the hand shower elbows and diverters on the market are ugly, and are not available in a traditional cross handle.

Have you looked at Jado or Hans Grohe?

    How about California Faucets?
