My toilet just started filling up and very slowly draning until most of the water's gone, but it's not flushing the waste down with it. I've tried 3 times now. The tank empties and refills, the bowl fills up almost to the point of overflow and then VERY slowly drains. No flushing is happening....

Probably a boring question: Flapper sticking in toilet

The flapper in the toilet is sticking in the open position causing the toilet to run (unless someone jiggles the handle to get the flapper to close). The chain was twisted around the handle, but has since been fixed. The flapper continues to stick for no apparent reason. Suggestions? Thanks. View more questions Search
