    Snaking a 4" main line
    Hello everyone!

    I heard that is really easy to get a motorized drain snake stuck in side the pipe how can I avoid this and be safe?

    You let someone else do it. Even the best get a snake stuck sometimes.

    Go slow... when you feel it tightening up, slow down and go in reverse

    To avoid hanging up your snake always snakewith the flow. Never against it. and if you hear the motor begaining to work too hard STOP!! and put it in reverse while pulling back on the cable. Good luck, Tom
