I'm working on old apartment building.. trying to replace old sayco diverter stem.the newer one I bought at a plumbing house look like a perfect match but when I install part of the water still flows out tub spout when it is diverted to shower.. not many moving parts... hard to see where problem...

Replaced all 3 valves in tub. When the cold water is turned on 100% diverts to shower head or the tub(works as designed). I'm want to replace the O-rings in the diverter cause its dripping behind the wall when I turn it to tub spigut but not when I turn it shower but I can't seem to get the handle off I've taken the screw out and tapped on it to loosen it and I even pryed on it but no use any suggestions?

My shower diverter is controlled by a knob located between the hot and cold water knobs above the tub on the shower wall. I have replaced the diverter but water continues to flow from both the tub spout and the showerhead.

My faucet on my bath top was leaking.It is a three handle system. I took the stems out and replaced the O-rings.
