    Roller Ball Drain Plug, How to Open
    I need to unclog my bathtub drain. The drain plug is a roller ball type; similar to lift and turn style but with different inner workings.

    How do I remove the roller ball drain plug so I can clean the drain?

    You can't snake a bath tub through the drain, you must remove the chrome overflow plate and go down that. You will run into a return bend,( the trap) about 18" down but work your way around that and put out about 15 more feet of snake. Flush the line out with hot water afterwards. Good luck, Tom
