I need a replacement shower hose or my bath, but one end is smaller than the other
I cannot find the correct replacement hose for my bath hand held shower. 1 end is a standard shower hose fitting, but the other end is smaller approx. 1/2" or 5/8", It needs to be smaller, not only for the connection but it also passes through a boss that sits on the surface of the bath. I don't know the make of the taps, but can't seem to find the right connector (small end) anywhere. Can anyone help please

I just installed one last week and there was an adapter that screwed into the tub faucet and then connected to the hand held. HD and Lowe's have a lot of adapters in the plumbing section.
