    Remodeling bathroom
I am going to remodel my bathroom, can I still get the older model toilet with a larger tank, with a bowl, or is there a new law about the amount of water used to flush the toilet to save on water? I thought I read a few years ago, where you can only use a new type of tank, that holds a smaller amount of water, in the US. Do these type flush as well as the older type?
    Thank You Very Much..

J never received an answer to this question, so it was time to make the move. I found out in 1992 that congress passed a law, that the new qualificatins are to have a tank that holds 1.6 gallons of water, compared to the old tank that required a tank that needed 3.5 gallons of water to use to flush your tank. I purched the new type of tank, that saves water on flushing your toilet. I was actually surprised that it worked very well, using a smaller amount of water. I actually think it worked much better. I hope this information was helpful, for anyone looking to upgrade your bathroom.. Good Luck..
