Question re attachable showerhead and temperature issues!
I have just moved into a flat where the housemate just uses the bath. I have long hair and really like to be able to shower rather than bath as it's easier and I feel cleaner generally. Anyway, there is a shower head attachment but when I pull the trigger to have the water flow to the shower head rather than the bathtub faucet the temperature goes either scorching hot or freezing cold. No matter what I do, I cannot get the water temp to regulate. As soon as I press the dial to go back to the bathtub faucet, the temperature regulates. I spent twenty minutes in the shower trying to get the temp right this morning and in the end gave up and had to have a bath. Any ideas on how to regulate the water temp or why it is happening, I can't see what difference it would make to the temperature whether the water is flowing through the bath faucet or through the showerhead attachment! THANKS!
