    Pumptrol use when dripping
    Hi,
I have a rural watersystem with a submersible pump, pressure tank and a square D Pumptrol. I just noticed that the control is dripping at a fast clip. Research on the net tells me that I need a new Pumptrol. I live on a small island and help is a few days away at least. I turned off the pump power when I noticed the leak. My question is: Is it dangerous to turn the power for the pump back on? Obviously the system worked well enough for a few days with the leak (I did not notice as I did not go into the pumphouse). I don't want to endanger the pump or myself for that matter. Also, who replaces a Pumptrol, the plumber or the electrician?
