    My problem is, I have water from the hot tap but not the cold tap.Why?
    My heating is from a Baxi Combi Boiler.
    Direct mains Feed.
    I have hot water from the tap in my kitchen but there is no water coming out of the cold tap.
    My bathroom supply is fine as is the water to the toilet.
    Why is there no cold water from the kitchen tap.

    Type of tap? One or two handle? The brand name? How old? Any plumbing work done around the sink lately? Did the cold water stop all of a sudden or get worse over time? Back to you, Tom

    I fixed it myself,, Yahoo!! 1
    I turned on the hot tap and forced the water back into the fossett.
    I did this thinking it might be an air lock...
    Guess what??
    It worked.
    God!! I should be a Plumber.
