    Pipes gurgling when anything drains?
I've been looking for an answer to this question, and this site looks where I would find the answer. Whenever anything is drained (mainly toilets flushes, etc.) the pipes gurgle, mostly the sink. I really don't know much about plumbing, so I am wondering is there any easy solution to this issue? Are there any other, potentially serious, issues that could be going on? If you need any extra information, I will get it to you ASAP, so thanks for reading and thanks again if you reply.

    Hello Gurglegurgle,

You have a vent that's blocked. When water discharges and runs down your pipes it creates a suction. This is why there are vent pipes to relive the suction and allow the water to run smoothly. When a vent pipe is blocked, the suction vents through the nearest fixture. In this case your commode. Your going to have to get on your roof and check the existing vent that vents your bathroom group. Run a snake down the vent. Make sure you put out enough cable to get past the clog and send it out into the main, good luck.

Drains and toilet gurgle during the night, when it's cold. Air bubles come up the toilet and then it actually drains itself, like the water is sucked out. Then it stops. Is this a sign of a future problem, what's happening? Only happens in the middle of the night around 3 am.
