    Oatey 42150
I will be installing a new acrylic shower pan and have a question regarding the Oatey 42150 no-caulk drain. It says it mounts from above the pan but do you have to attach the drain to the pan and tighten the nut before you put the pan in place or can everything be done with the pan in place?
    Thanks:rolleyes:

OATEY SCS CASPERS NO-CAULK BRASS SHOWER DRAIN .Fits all preformed shower bases .Mechanically attaches over 2 SCH 40 DWV pipe .Installs from above base .Fiber and rubber gasket .4-1/4 stainless steel snap-on strainer.

This must be attached to the pan with the retaining nut and the pan lowered over the trap raiser. Instructions should come with the unit but if you need help in placing the washers click on back. Good luck, TOM
