Hi, I own a small plumbing service and have a problem I've never encountered before. I installed a new top vented gas water heater for a customer. Turned the main back on, bled air out of the lines, etc. Problem is there is no hot water pressure throughout the house. Cold water pressure is fine....

Hi, I just installed a new electric water heater, (energy smart), was told by whirlpool that increasing my hot out to 3/4 would be better pressure, previous was 3/4 in 1/2 out, well now it is hard to regulate the water, plenty of hot water but just turn cold a little too much and it takes over....

I'm still experiencing low hot water pressure even after replacing the water heater. When you first turn on the faucets the pressure will be fine but within a few seconds it drops again.
Hot Water Heater pressure relief valve

On my water heater, I have the Pressure Relief Valve on top. There is also a (plugged) PRV outlet on the side of the heater. Can I move my valve to the side outlet? Is there a reason that it may have been installed at the top as opposed to the side? Thanks
