    No hot water in master bath;scortching hot everywhere else.
    OK here is my dilema..

    I just purchased a newly built home. We are the 1st owners and everything was brand new.. appliances, furnace boiler etc;

    I have scortching hot water everywhere but my master bath. I have 2 flrs and 2 full baths. Bathroom on 1st floor has hot water enough to fog up the room and make the walls sweat. Master bath we just get barely luke warm water.

    Winter time is coming and going downstairs in the morning is getting to be a hassle.

    Now I have read several threads here in regards to my topic but they all have to do with older homes... being that mine is brand new is there a possibility that I too am having that crud build up problem.

    Now I am not handy at all nor can I keep paying people to fix my issues... one guy charged me $275 to light my boiler pilot so I am ready to take matters to my own hands... I just don't want to rip up tiles nor cause a flood.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

    Have you called the seller yet? A brand new home should still be under warranty. $275 to light a boiler should result in a complaint to the cities licensing department.

    Tub and shower diverters, have tempering adjustments to allow the showers to be lower in temperature, to prevent scaulding. It is quite possible that your tempering adjustment on your diverter is allowing too much cold water, and not enough hot water.
